Here you will find the step by step guide to booking and paying for your car hire on MCHBooker.

Consider the Group Specifications chart and decide
on the type of car which best suits your need.

Browse through the available cars to select the
model you prefer in your chosen range.
Step 3
Calculate the price by considering the relevant
price chart for the season period of your holiday.
Step 4
Order and reserve the car of your choice online
by filling in the online reservation form.
Step 5
Await email with confirmation of availability
and price.
Step 6
Make payment as per payment instructions on invoice
as emailed by MCHB.com with enclosed pickup details.
Step 7
Arrive in Malta with pickup instructions and documentation
to collect car and return as per agreement.
What
does one full day hire consist of?
One day consists of 24 hrs with a maximum grace of 1 hour, after which
another full day will be activated. Eg (Collect at 11am means return at
11am the day after)
What
is included in the hire price?
1) 24 Hr breakdown service 2) One driver fully comprehensive insurance
cover 3) Road Licence with Valletta entry permit 4) Unlimited Mileage
in Malta & Gozo 5) VAT 18% on daily hire rates
Are
there any hidden charges?
The only additional charges which are optional are the following: a) CDW
waiver b) Drivers under 25 - extra insurance c) Additional driver to the
principal one d) Airport collection or delivery e) Out of Office hours
delivery and collection f) Child seats
Do you operate 24 hrs?
Deliveries are applicable 24hrs, however reservations are active and confirmed
only during office hours.
What
should I understand by fully comprehensive Insurance?
Fully
comprehensive Insurance means the maximum cover the insurance can apply,
which includes third party, fire, theft and own damage, however this excludes
the deductible excess. Personal accident is not included with fully comprehensive
cover and is not sold as an option.
What
is the age requirement?
Drivers
under 25 and older than 21 have to purchase a separate under age driver
insurance cover. Only Group A to group G vehicles are available for such
age bracket. Certain restrictions may apply for high powered engines,
especially from exclusive groups which only cover drivers aged 30 and
over. In cases where drivers under 30 but over 25 provides evidence of
vehicle registered in his or her name with no claims experience for a
minimum of 3 years, a reconsideration can be applied.
Both
of us want to drive? What is policy?
Principal
only covers the first driver. Any additional driver should be inserted
in the contract at a nominal additional insurance charge. Drivers not
included in the contract are not covered by insurance.
