around 500m

For this site we recommend that local knowledge is
needed to
find it or guided by boat.
Conditions
This site is greatly exposed and you must be aware
of the
choppy current. Care must be taken.

Average visibility beyond 30m
At this dive you will find five great caves to explore these
can be found in the rocky wall. All the caves are considered
safe for diving and all cave walls are covered in algae from sea
rose to sea lace. The marine goldfish which is very rare around
the islands of Malta can be seen within these caves.


This dive can be located off the northern coast road between Sliema and Bugibba. You have to go past the tower on Qrejten Point then you will find the rocks are about 100m offshore.
Access
The best way to access this site is via boat but it has been known to use the rocky shore to enter.
Conditions
This site is fairly exposed but it well away
from the near by boat traffic although in the shallow areas extra vigilance
should be taken as traffic is intense.

Another fairly easy dive which many Possidonia sea grass beds . You will find
that the boulders are covered in algae. You will also come across many stripped
mullet and Bream and the wrassie species.
